Most would describe me as a lifestyle photographer, but I don’t like to limit myself to just one subject or a specific type of client. I started out self-taught and quickly realized I wanted, and needed, to learn more. So, I did just that. Several classes, mentors, camera and lens upgrades, studio investments, and 15+ years later... I’m still learning every day.
I love photoshoots that challenge my knowledge and technique, pushing me to create pieces of art my clients will cherish for a lifetime. I enjoy working with both natural and artificial (studio) lighting and love getting creative with each. Some of my favorite moments come from photographing young children, chasing them around, waiting to catch that “perfect” moment... that’s what it’s all about!
I am a proud wife and mom to three beautiful girls who are now in junior high. We live just outside of town on a few peaceful acres, surrounded by dogs, cats, and a handful of show pigs. Life is busy, full of love (and just the right amount of chaos), and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Outside of portrait work, I have a deep passion for wildlife photography, especially birds. There is something incredibly rewarding about capturing them mid-flight or perfectly perched, particularly when it’s a species I’ve never photographed before. I'm also proud to serve as a Board Member for Wildlife in Focus, a prestigious conservation-driven photography competition that brings together private landowners and photographers to document the incredible beauty and biodiversity of Texas. It’s a unique and meaningful way to support conservation through the power of storytelling and imagery.
This is life, as I see it. Enjoy!
